ऋत Rta is the Divine intelligence that governs all time, meaning, and form.

Tarot initiates Rta through the individual consciousness, archetypes, symbols, and synchronistic events. It is the reflection of Rta moving through you, in the moment.

Jyotish is a map of Rta and how consciousness organizes itself through planetary motion and the effects of karma, based on your individual birth.

Our Souls’ journey is forever separating from the source and returning. This is our Divine evolutionary plan. Jyotish Tarot is a simple guidance tool for how Rta is moving through your world in any given moment. It answers questions deeply, giving you great insight into your archetypal patterns, karmic habits, and how you can change your destiny.

Jyotish is the traditional Hindu astrology, used in conjunction with Ayurveda. This knowledge was recorded in scriptures known as the Vedas. Western culture, more recently, has started calling it Vedic astrology

The design for these cards started as a study of the Grahas. I wanted to deepen my relationship with them and have a better understanding of their individual dynamics. I am a visual learner, rather than one who learns through memorization. I love trees and decided to incorporate them as the basic design element for each Graha. Everyone can relate to trees, and the personality of each Graha is easily visible and memorable. The Rasi and Bhava images are based on the different modalities of each.

These cards are designed as an introduction to the dynamic and multifaceted complexity of Jyotish. It is a devotional study of the self and the interconnection of all things. Simply using the cards from a heart-centered inquiry will offer subtle and profound insight. You can also use the cards as flash cards to help with additional studies of Jyotish.

The image designs are based on the ancient teachings of Maharishi Parashara and Maharishi Jaimini, who were “seers” of knowledge.

“Magic happens when we let go of the mind and allow our intuition to guide us.”
